Super Elite T1 Tournament 50m – Nylon Fishing Line

Trabucco Super Elite T1 Tournament 50m nylon

Trabucco Super Elite T1 Tournament is a high-quality nylon fishing line for tying hooklengths and rigs for pole fishing and the roubaisienne. The material has been developed with very high breaking strain, so you have reliable reserves even when fishing with a delicate, neat presentation.

The light, dichroic colour keeps the line subtle in varying light conditions. The spool contains 50 metres, providing enough material to accurately prepare many hooklengths or complete rigs. For optimum knot strength, Trabucco recommends the classic figure-eight knot, moistened before tightening.

Frequently asked questions

What can I use T1 Tournament for?

This nylon line is intended for making hooklengths and complete rigs for pole fishing. Match the selected diameter to the hook, bait, target fish and conditions at the water.

Is this a mainline for a reel?

The T1 Tournament was developed by Trabucco for hooklengths used in pole fishing and roubaisienne. For a reel, it is better to choose a line specifically designed as reel or casting line.

Which knot does Trabucco recommend?

The manufacturer recommends a classic figure-eight knot for connections and loops. Moisten the knot before tightening it gently to reduce heat and damage to the nylon.

How do I check a tied hooklength?

Tighten the knot evenly after tying it and check the line for deformation, rough spots or pinching. Replace the hooklength if you notice any damage.
