Sonubaits Pro Green Fishmeal

A green fishmeal groundbait that is finely milled and then sieved, designed for carp, F1s, skimmers and bream. Perfect for commercial fisheries where big weights are needed to win. Pro Green Fishmeal contains large amounts of low-temperature fishmeal, which is highly digestible and water-soluble, quickly creating a rich feeding area.

It is extremely easy to mix and binds well to a Method Feeder, yet still breaks down quickly. This is all due to the consistency and fine texture of the ingredients used. The fine fishmeal particles create an inactive mix when moistened, which is perfect for fast breakdown of the bait around the hook. It can also be formed into balls and cupped in on the pole, and it also creates a great slop for shallow fishing

The fine texture of the groundbait creates a light cloud of attractants as it breaks down from the feeder, quickly forming a feeding area.

Sonubaits Pro Super Sweet

A rich, dark, super-sweet groundbait designed for F1 carp and skimmers on commercial fisheries. It is finely ground and then sieved, after which sweet enhancers are added; these have a proven track record and are unique to Sonubaits.

Sonubaits Pro Sweet Maple Fishmeal

Sonubaits Pro Sweet Maple Fishmeal Groundbait is part of our premium PRO groundbait range, developed in collaboration with England international Lee Kerry, and introduces a mix that combines sweet aroma and taste with a blend of finely ground fishmeal pellets.

Sonubiats PRO Sweet Maple Fishmeal has a beautiful neutral brown colour that blends impressively into natural substrates. The mix's fine structure ensures it binds well, yet can still be compressed firmly, whether around a method feeder, in a ball, or through a cage feeder, while still breaking down to form a perfect bait bed on the bottom - that is how versatile it is.

Over the past 20 years, the Sonubaits Pro Range groundbait has achieved cult status because it has been the go-to groundbait for many anglers.

Originally only available through the Thatchers store. Because this finely ground and sieved pellet-based groundbait contains extra fishmeal and a small amount of breadcrumb for texture, making it perfect for commercials.

This makes it easy to mix, allows it to bind well to a Method Feeder, and break down quickly. This is all due to the consistency and fine texture of the ingredients used. The fine particles create an inactive mix when dampened, which is perfect for a fast breakdown of feed around the hook. It can also be balled or cupped as slop.

Pro Thatchers Original is easy to mix. Pour the bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 1-litre maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix well, then leave it to stand for 30 minutes; during this time, the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. 

Then for the best result; To remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.

Alternatively, you can use a drill and whisk; this is now the preferred method of many of our consultants.
When fishing, sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a little. To prevent this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or, if it does dry out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
