Description
The Preston Supera X Rod Bands keep a rigged rod compact and securely together during transport. The two neoprene bands are placed around the tip and butt sections and fasten with Velcro. This helps prevent the rod sections from shifting or knocking against each other inside the rod holdall.
The larger band has an external pocket for a feeder still attached to the line. This keeps the feeder away from vulnerable feeder tips and rod guides. The set is especially practical when you want to set up quickly at the water without removing the complete rig each time.

Where should I place the two bands?
Place one band around the butt section and the other around the tip end of the folded rod sections. Tighten the Velcro enough to limit movement, but not so tightly that pressure points form.
Are these bands only suitable for Supera X rods?
No. The name refers to the product series, but the adjustable neoprene bands can also be used with many other multi-section rods.
