Rod Support

The Preston Rod Support is a compact rod support for the leg of a seatbox, platform or suitable feeder chair. It safely holds a feeder rod or top kit while you replace a hooklength, feed bait or unhook a fish.

The support keeps the rod close at hand and allows you to adjust the angle to suit your setup. This is also practical when fishing in flowing water, where you often position the rod higher to keep more line out of the current.

Without an insert, the clamp fits a 36 mm round leg. The supplied inserts allow fitting to 30 and 25 mm round legs and 23 mm square legs. This makes the support a useful addition to the Preston Absolute 36 Feeder Chair, among others.
