Frequently asked questions

Why does this N-30 hook have an eye?

The eye makes the hook particularly suitable for a knotless knot and a hair rig. This allows the bait to be presented outside the hook bend, while the hook remains free to hook effectively.

What bait is this hook suitable for?

The shape and medium wire gauge work well with worms, sweetcorn and hook bait attached to the hair with a bait band. Match the hook size to the bait and target species.

When should I choose a barbed hook?

A barb helps keep the hook in place during the fight. Use this model only where barbed hooks are permitted, and always handle fish carefully when unhooking.
