Mugger Pole Floats – Shallow Water Float (10 pcs)

Preston Mugger Pole Floats – for shallow fishing for cruising fish

The Preston Mugger Pole Float is designed for swinging a rig in a controlled manner towards cruising fish and for presenting larger bait in shallow water. The small, highly buoyant body keeps the presentation stable, while the highly visible 3 mm hollow top antenna provides sufficient buoyancy and visibility. The line runs through the float body and is additionally guided through a strong Dura-Side side eye. Together with the durable fibreglass stem, this creates a robust float for targeted fishing for carp and other hard-fighting coarse fish.

Frequently asked questions about the Preston Mugger Pole Floats

WHAT IS THE MUGGER POLE FLOAT SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR?

This float is intended for swinging a short rig in a controlled manner towards cruising fish and for presenting larger bait in shallow water. This makes it particularly useful when fish are feeding high in the water or close to a shallow spot.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF THE SMALL, BUOYANT BODY?

The compact body supports a direct and accurate presentation without unnecessary resistance. Thanks to its buoyancy, the 3 mm hollow antenna remains clearly visible even with larger bait.

WHY DOES THE LINE RUN THROUGH THE FLOAT BODY?

The central line-through design reduces the strain on a single attachment point. Combined with the Dura-Side side eye and fibreglass stem, this provides extra confidence when fishing for strong fish.
