Hardcase Rod Safe

Preston Hardcase Rod Safe

The Preston Hardcase Rod Safe is a sturdy hardcase for safely transporting made-up rods, reels and longer rod accessories. The hard, easy-clean exterior protects the contents from knocks, while internal EVA dividers and retaining straps keep the rods in place during transport.

One side features a deep recess that provides ample room around the reels and can hold up to four rods. The other side can be used for up to three pole sections or for landing net handles, distance sticks and spare quivertips. Thanks to its robust zips and padded shoulder strap, the holdall remains practical for regular use on the bank.

Frequently asked questions

CAN I STORE MADE-UP RODS WITH REELS IN THE PRESTON HARDCASE ROD SAFE?

Yes. The deep reel recess and internal dividers are designed for safely transporting up to four rods with reels. Position the reels alternately where necessary and fasten all retaining straps before lifting the holdall.

WHAT CAN I CARRY IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE HOLDALL?

You can store up to three pole sections there. If you use the Rod Safe exclusively for rods, this space can also be used for landing net handles, distance sticks and spare quivertips.

HOW DO I PREVENT DAMAGE TO RODS AND REELS DURING TRANSPORT?

Place each rod between the EVA dividers, ensure the reels sit freely in the deep recess and fasten the Velcro straps without putting pressure on vulnerable parts. Then check that nothing can move before closing the zip.
