Groundbait Catapult & Accessories 💰

Preston Groundbait Catapult – accurately deliver groundbait balls to your spot

The Preston Groundbait Catapult has been developed to launch medium-sized groundbait balls easily and with control. The strong, robust frame and powerful elastic provide the necessary pulling power, while the lightweight pouch supports the groundbait ball without making the catapult unnecessarily heavy.

The anti-tangle design helps prevent the elastic from becoming tangled during repeated feeding. Thanks to the shaped handle with a soft finish, the catapult sits comfortably and securely in the hand, even when delivering several groundbait balls in succession.

Choose Groundbait – complete catapult for the full catapult. The Groundbait – spare elastic option is a replacement elastic for the Groundbait Catapult, not a complete catapult.

Frequently asked questions

Which groundbait balls are best suited to this catapult?

The pouch is designed for medium-sized groundbait balls. Make the balls compact and roughly the same size, so they stay securely in the pouch during tensioning and fly consistently.

How can I prevent a groundbait ball from breaking apart during the cast?

Make sure the groundbait ball is compressed firmly enough to withstand acceleration. Test one ball first and adjust the moisture level or compression of the groundbait if the ball breaks apart too early.

How do I achieve a consistent distance?

Use groundbait balls of similar size and weight, pull the elastic back to the same point each time, and maintain a consistent shooting angle.

How do I check the catapult for wear?

Check the elastic, connection points and pouch before every session. Replace a component as soon as you notice cracks, drying out or clear damage, and use the selector above the description for the currently available option.
