Preston F1 Fine Pole Floats – sensitive winter float for F1 carp and silverfish

The Preston F1 Fine Pole Float is designed for difficult winter days when F1 carp and silverfish are feeding cautiously. Its slim profile and fine hollow plastic antenna register subtle bites, while remaining clearly visible in low light.

The carbon stem provides stable presentation without making the float unnecessarily heavy. The body is made from strong Rohacell foam, ensuring this sensitive float withstands regular use for pole fishing.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this float suitable for winter?

The combination of the slim body and fine antenna makes cautious bites visible, even when fish are feeding slowly and tentatively.

Can I also use the F1 Fine Pole Float for regular silverfish?

Yes. Its sensitive design is also suitable for refined fishing for roach, bream and other silverfish species.

What is the advantage of the 1.2 mm hollow antenna?

A hollow plastic antenna combines sensitivity with good buoyancy and visibility. This keeps bite indication sharp without making the antenna difficult to follow.
