Euro Carp STR Short Kit Extender – Extension for Short Top Kit

Preston Euro Carp STR Short Kit Extender

The Preston Euro Carp STR Short Kit Extender is the matching extension section for the one-piece 1.85-metre Euro Carp STR Short Kit Grey. By fitting the extender, you can return this short top kit to the standard length of approximately 2.90 metres. This allows you to use the same short top kit both compactly and at full STR top kit length.

The extender itself is 1.10 metres long and fits the shared STR mandrel. This keeps the setup aligned with the Euro Carp STR series and allows you to switch more quickly between short-margin fishing and a longer presentation without setting up a completely different top kit.

It is specifically intended for the one-piece 1.85-metre Euro Carp STR Short Kit Grey. The standard Top 2 and Top 3 kits do not require this extension.

Why would I extend a short top kit?
You retain the fast, compact short kit for shallow or short-range fishing, while using the same extension section to return it to the standard top kit length for a different presentation or depth.
