Preston MCM-B Bayonet Hair Rig Barbless 10cm – ready-made hooklengths with bait bayonet

The Preston MCM-B Bayonet Hair Rigs are barbless, ready-made 10 cm hooklengths for presenting hook bait on a hair. At the end is a small bait bayonet: press it into a suitable, soft hook bait so the hook remains exposed. Preston specifically recommends this version for boilies and Band’Ums. The short length is practical when fishing with a method or hybrid feeder.

Each hooklength is hand-tied with an MCM-B hook and Preston Reflo Power line. The bait bayonet makes changing hook bait easy, without the need for a bait band or separate stopper. Choose a bait that is firm enough to stay on the bayonet during casting and check the attachment before every cast.

You get eight hooklengths on a Mag Store Rig Stick. The stick fits directly into a Mag Store System Box of the correct size. The label shows the hook size, line diameter and breaking strain, so you can quickly identify the hooklengths.

What is the difference from the banded version?

With this bayonet version, you insert the bait bayonet directly into suitable hook bait. The banded version holds the bait with an elastic bait band. Which attachment is most suitable depends on the shape and firmness of your hook bait.
