Description
The Matrix Plastic Orbit Feeders are plastic feeder cages for accurate feeding at distance. The conical base weight gives the feeder a distinctly aerodynamic shape, while the lightweight plastic cage rises quickly through the water when retrieving.
The opening between the base weight and the cage helps small particles escape. The larger openings in the cage also ensure that groundbait and fine feed particles are washed out smoothly. The subtle Trans-Khaki colour also keeps the presentation discreet on the bottom.
Use this feeder with groundbait or small particles and adjust the moisture level of your mix to the depth and desired release speed. A drier mix washes out faster; a slightly stickier mix stays in the cage longer during the cast and descent.
Key features
- Designed for accurate casting at distance
- Conical base weight for an aerodynamic flight
- Opening between the weight and cage supports particle release
- Larger cage openings allow groundbait to wash out easily
- Lightweight plastic cage rises quickly when retrieving
- Subtle Trans-Khaki colour
- Ideal for groundbait and small particles
Why does the Plastic Orbit Feeder have a conical base weight?
The conical weight streamlines the feeder and concentrates the casting weight at the front. This keeps the cage more stable in flight and allows you to feed more accurately at distance.
What does the opening between the weight and the cage do?
Small particles and groundbait can also escape from the underside through this opening. Together with the larger openings in the plastic cage, this promotes an even washout around the feeding spot.
