The Matrix MXC-2 X-Strong Pole Rigs are ready-tied 15 cm hooklengths for pole fishing on commercial fisheries. They are designed for situations where strength and durability are important, such as fishing for carp and other hard-fighting fish with larger hook baits.
Each hooklength is precisely tied with an ultra-sharp, PTFE-coated barbless MXC-2 hook and Matrix Power Micron nylon. This combination is suitable for pellets, sweetcorn, meat and paste, and can be stored neatly straight in a suitable hooklength box.

Frequently asked questions
When should I choose these X-Strong hooklengths?
Choose this version when targeting hard-fighting fish with a pole or when you want to catch larger weights. The robust hook and Power Micron nylon are designed for heavier loads.
Can I put the bait directly on the hook?
Yes. These hooklengths have no hair or bait attachment, allowing you to present bait such as sweetcorn, pellets, meat or paste directly on the hook.
What is the best way to store 15 cm hooklengths?
Store them straight and dry in a hooklength box suitable for 15 cm rigs. This prevents kinks in the nylon and keeps the hook points better protected.
