The Matrix Ethos XR-S Feeder Rods are lightweight feeder rods with a soft, slim blank, designed for light feeder fishing for coarse fish. They are ideal for casting small feeders at short to medium range and playing roach, bream and hybrids smoothly, with an action that helps reduce hook pulls.
Soft blank for coarse fish
The slim blank bends beautifully when playing roach, hybrids and small bream, absorbing the fish's lunges. The lightweight XOG SG guides allow the line to run smoothly while keeping the weight low. The handle is a durable combination of rubber cork and EVA. Both rods are two-piece and break down evenly into two equal sections, making transport easy. Each rod comes with two 2.2 mm carbon tips (0.5 oz and 1.0 oz) in a premium storage bag.
Choose your rod based on the required casting distance and the weight of the filled feeder. The longer version has a slightly higher rated casting weight; both models are designed for light feeders at short to medium range.
