The progressive action helps reduce hook pulls during the fight, while the blank retains enough power to cast the feeder. Within this range, the application shifts from short and medium distances to larger feeders at longer range. This allows you to match the rod to the distance and feeder size you are fishing with.

Which rod suits your fishing distance?
The 3.40 m rod is designed for short to medium distances. The 3.60 m model is aimed at medium-range fishing. For larger feeders and longer casts, the 3.80 m has a more powerful blank. Check the corresponding casting weight in the selection list.
Included and replacement feeder tips
The 3.40 m comes with 1.0 and 1.5 oz tips. The 3.60 m is supplied with 1.0 and 2.0 oz tips; the 3.80 m includes 1.5 and 2.0 oz tips. This oz rating refers to the tip and is not the casting weight of the rod.
For additional or replacement tips, use the Ethos Platinum Medium Quiver Tips 2.8 mm designed for this range. The matching tip range runs from 0.5 to 2.5 oz.
