Air Flow Bait Tubs – Ventilated Bait Tubs

The Matrix Air Flow Bait Tubs are ventilated bait tubs for maggots, worms and other live bait. The breathable lid provides continuous ventilation, while the light grey colour helps reduce heat absorption from the sun.

Their compact rectangular shape makes efficient use of space on a side tray. They are also stackable, allowing you to transport several bait types neatly and store empty tubs compactly.

Make the system even more practical with the Matrix Skirt Lid, whose overhanging edge helps prevent maggots from escaping. For draining worms, casters or soaked micro pellets, the Matrix Drainage Tray fits directly into the bait tub.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose an Air Flow bait tub?

Choose Air Flow when storing live bait that needs constant ventilation, such as maggots or worms. For pellets, sweetcorn and other bait types you want to keep sealed, an Air Lock bait tub is more suitable.

How can I prevent maggots from escaping when the tub is open?

Place the matching Matrix Skirt Lid in the bait tub. Its downward-facing edge forms an extra barrier along the inner wall.

Can I also drain micro pellets in this bait tub?

Yes, in combination with the matching Matrix Drainage Tray. This allows excess water to drain away without having to pour the pellets loose into the tub.
