Match Fine Method Mix 1kg – Finely Ground Method Groundbait

Mainline Match Fine Method Mix 1kg

Mainline Match Fine Method Mix is a super-fine Method groundbait made from carefully milled ingredients, including fishmeal and ground pellets. The mix is easy to moisten and forms an even consistency that can be pressed firmly into a Method feeder and breaks down in a controlled manner underwater.

The strong food signal makes this groundbait suitable for a range of coarse fish species, with carp being an important target. You can use Fine Method Mix on its own or combine it with Mainline Match Activated Coarse Pellets or Mainline Match Activated Carp Cell Pellets. With a small amount of Mainline Match Sticky Syrup, you can further adjust the binding and attraction.

Frequently asked questions

How wet should Fine Method Mix be mixed?

Add water gradually and mix thoroughly. The right consistency stays firm enough in the feeder but breaks down underwater. Let the groundbait rest briefly and check the binding before you start fishing.

Can I mix pellets into this Method mix?

Yes. Mainline also recommends using the mix in combination with Activated Pellets. This adds larger feed particles without losing the fine groundbait base.

When should I use Sticky Syrup in this mix?

Use a small amount when you want extra attraction or more binding. Add it gradually so the groundbait does not become heavier or stickier than necessary.
