Description
MAP Section Protectors for G40, G50 and G60 poles
The MAP Section Protectors G40/G50/G60 protect the end of your pole when fishing at shorter lengths. When you remove pole sections, another section becomes the rear end of the pole. With the correct protector, you protect this vulnerable joint during use.
The reversible protectors and the short individual section protectors offer the same protective function, but differ in their fitting. Therefore, do not choose based solely on the pole range: the relevant section number and protector type must also match.
Reversible protectors
A reversible protector can be used on two different pole sections. The model for sections 4/5 fits section 4 or section 5; the version for sections 6/7 is intended for section 6 or section 7. Each is a single reversible component, not two separate protectors. The fitted EVA nose helps prevent damage to the female joint when fishing short.
Short carbon protectors
The Short Section Protectors are lightweight carbon protectors for one specific pole section. They fit into the end of the corresponding section of a MAP G40, G50 or G60. The EVA nose cones at both ends make fitting easier and help keep dirt or gravel out of the pole section. The short construction provides protection without adding an entire extra pole section.
