MAP G Series Short Number 3 for a tighter pole action

The MAP G Series G40/60 Short Number 3 is a short third pole section that replaces the long third section of a G40, G50 or G60 pole. Its fast-tapered shape is designed to create a stiffer, tighter action in the pole setup. This makes the section particularly useful for shallow fishing or when fishing with a long pole.

You use the short section as a replacement within the existing pole setup, not as an additional extension. This changes the way the pole is assembled compared with the original long third section. The component is designed to adjust the action and is not a complete top kit.

Compatible with G40, G50 and G60

Official Leeda product information confirms compatibility with the MAP G40, G50 and G60. The G40/60 name therefore also includes the G50. Use it as a replacement for the long third section of one of these models; compatibility is not automatically confirmed for other MAP poles or generations.
