Salmon Oil 250ml

Mainline Salmon Oil – salmon oil for coating and enriching bait

Mainline Salmon Oil is a fish oil widely used as a feed stimulant in fish farming. For angling, it is suitable for coating boilies, particles and pellets, or for giving groundbait and method mixes an oil and fishmeal profile. The oil creates a nutrient-rich trail around the bait without significantly changing the base structure of the mix.

Spread a small amount over the bait and mix thoroughly until the surface is evenly coated. You can add the oil shortly before use or allow the bait to soak for longer for a deeper coating. Especially in warmer water, when oils disperse more easily, salmon oil is a logical choice for fishmeal-rich groundbait strategies.

Frequently asked questions

How much salmon oil should I add to my bait?
Start with a small amount and mix thoroughly. Only add more once all bait items are evenly coated and the desired structure is retained.

Can I use Mainline Salmon Oil on pellets?
Yes. Pour a limited amount over the pellets and shake or mix them carefully so that the oil is distributed across the surface.

When is the best time to use salmon oil?
Fish oil generally disperses more easily in warmer water. This makes it especially suitable for spring and summer sessions, or other situations where an oily food trail is desired.
