The X-Safe elastic is designed to prevent the hook from coming loose, especially during the final stage of the fight. The cushioning effect ensures that the fish stay on the hook during the crucial phase of the fight, the netting, resulting in more fish in your keepnet. The system was developed by Alex Bones. He not only ensured that you lose fewer fish during the fight but also that the feeder can come free if your main line ever breaks.
