The Guru Paste Pot is specially designed to deliver a paste or dough presentation accurately to the feeding spot when pole fishing. The deep walls keep the soft bait ball securely in place while shipping out, so your hookbait only leaves the pot at the chosen spot.

The ultra-light, soft material is kind to your top kit and features two mounting slots. This allows you to fit the pot to different top kit diameters and, if desired, mount it slightly further back from the rod tip. That extra distance helps prevent line and bait from tangling around the tip while shipping out.

Frequently asked questions about the Guru Paste Pot

Do I put the hookbait in the pot myself?

Yes. Carefully place the paste with the hook inside it in the pot and ship the pole out smoothly. Above the feeding spot, tilt the pot so the bait can sink down in a controlled manner.

Why should I mount the pot slightly further from the rod tip?

The extra distance between the tip and the paste gives the line and rig more room. This reduces the chance of the rig wrapping around the rod tip while shipping out.

Does the pot fit different top kits?

The base has two slots for different diameters. Choose the slot that fits your top kit securely without excessive tension.

Can I also use this pot for loose groundbait?

Yes. Although developed for paste, the deep, lightweight pot can also be used to accurately deliver a larger portion of other suitable groundbait.
