The N-Gauge Specimen Reels are designed to cover a wide range of fishing situations, whether you’re targeting double-digit carp on a commercial fishery or hard-fighting barbel on a river, these N-Gauge Specimen Reels have you covered.
One of our main goals with the N-Gauge Specimen reel project was to cover a broad range of fishing scenarios, which is why we developed three reel sizes; 4000 and 5000, for every fishing situation you’re likely to encounter. Each N-Gauge Specimen Reel features 5+1 Carbon Ball Bearings that provide better start-up performance, a crucial aspect on a specimen-style reel.
The N-Gauge Specimen Reels have a lightweight graphite body that offers the perfect balance of strength and performance. All N-Gauge Specimen reels have an aluminum spool, an essential feature for the performance and durability of this reel. Along with an aluminum handle and soft-touch T-shaped handle knob, giving you ultimate control when playing hard-fighting fish.
The reel’s finish includes an adjustable free spool system that allows you to set the free spool for a steady release, useful when targeting hard-fighting fish like barbel and carp. The adjustability of the N-Gauge Free Spool lets you fine-tune the system for optimal performance.
