Bait Strainers – Bait Sieves

The Guru Bait Strainer is a practical bait sieve for soaking, rinsing and quickly draining pellets and other bait. Place the sieve in a matching Guru Bait Box, fill the box with water and simply lift out the strainer after the desired soaking time.

The open structure drains excess water evenly. Raised feet keep the bottom of the sieve clear when you put it down, allowing water to continue draining away so the bait does not sit in the drained water again. The shaped corners provide extra grip when removing it.

In addition to micro pellets, the strainer is suitable for hemp, sweetcorn, meat, casters, dead maggots and worms, among other baits. Select the matching version for the Guru Bait Box you use, ensuring the box and sieve fit together correctly.

Frequently asked questions

How do I prepare micro pellets with the Guru Bait Strainer?

Put the pellets in the strainer, place it in a Bait Box filled with water and allow the pellets to soak for the desired time. Then lift the sieve out of the water by the corners and allow the pellets to drain thoroughly and rest further according to the bait manufacturer's instructions.

Why does the Bait Strainer have raised feet?

The feet create space beneath the bottom when you put the strainer down. This allows water to keep draining away, so the bait does not sit directly in the drained liquid.

Which Guru Bait Box do I need?

Choose a Bait Box that matches the selected strainer. Check both product selectors before purchase, as only matching sizes fit neatly together.
