Guru Aventus Zero 600 Bolo 7.0m Telescopic Rod
The Guru Aventus Zero 600 Bolo 7.0m is a telescopic bolo rod for controlled float fishing on rivers. The long rod gives you precise control over the line and rig, allowing you to guide the float purposefully through the current, even at distance.
The blank is constructed from Zero 600 Tensile Carbon and features an Ultra-Fast Taper. This combination creates a stiff, responsive rod with a balanced feel and direct control when positioning the rig and striking.
Smooth handling and premium finish
The Super Glide Matt Paint Finish on the main section supports a secure grip. On the slimmer carbon sections, the Friction Free Matt Paint Finish reduces resistance, allowing the telescopic sections to operate smoothly even in damp conditions. The Rigid Joint System helps keep the connections stable.
Fuji guides with Alconite rings ensure smooth line flow, while the Fuji Stainless Plate Reel Seat keeps the reel securely in place. A removable Hook Keeper Band provides a neat attachment point for the hook or rig when the rod is not in use.
The included Protective Guide Cover protects the vulnerable guides during storage and transport.

Frequently asked questions
What is this bolo rod used for?
The rod is designed for float fishing on rivers, where the extra length helps lift the line and guide the rig through the current in a controlled manner.
Why is the model called 7.0m when the actual length is 6.85 metres?
7.0m is Guru's model designation. The manufacturer states the actual rod length as 6.85 metres.
How do I protect the guides during transport?
Place the included Protective Guide Cover over the guides when the telescopic rod is collapsed. This helps minimise knocks, bending and abrasion during storage and transport.
