Pro Commercial King Pro Eyed Barbless

The Gamakatsu Pro Commercial King Pro Eyed Barbless is a barbless eyed hook based on the well-known Gamakatsu 2210 model. The curved, offset point provides reliable hook holds, especially when presenting bait slightly overdepth or using a longer hooklength when feeder fishing.

The hook eye makes it easy to tie a hair rig for hard baits using a bait band, stopper or lasso. The medium wire gauge provides a refined presentation with sufficient strength for bream, tench, F1s and medium-sized carp. Forged bends add extra strength, while the PTFE coating supports penetration and helps keep the point sharp.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the King Pro Eyed instead of a spade end hook?

Choose the eyed version when you want to easily tie a hair rig for hard baits. For a classic direct bait presentation without a hair, a spade end hook may be more suitable.

Which hair attachments can I use with this hook?

The eye allows rigs with a bait band, stopper or lasso. The best choice depends on the hook bait used and the desired presentation.

Why is the point curved and offset?

This shape is designed to gain purchase quickly and maintain reliable hook holds, including when presenting slightly overdepth or using a longer feeder hooklength.

Which fish species is this model suitable for?

The King Pro Eyed Barbless is suitable for bream, tench, F1s and medium-sized carp on commercial and mixed fisheries.
