Fun Fishing External Bushes – smooth guidance for pole elastic

The Fun Fishing External Bushes are external pole bushes made from 100% PTFE, designed to provide a smooth passage for elastic at the end of the pole tip. The low friction helps the elastic run freely and reduces unnecessary wear where it constantly moves along the tip.

These external bushes are fitted to the outside of the pole tip and are suitable for setting up or renewing an elastic top kit. Use the variant selector to choose the version that matches the outer diameter of your tip and the maximum diameter of the elastic used.

Key features

External pole bushes for elastic top kits
Made from 100% PTFE
Smooth, low-friction guidance
Helps reduce wear and heat build-up on the elastic
For fitting to the outside of the pole tip
Two pieces per pack

Combine with suitable pole elastic

If you are setting up a top kit with elastic from the same brand, also take a look at the Fun Fishing Hollow Elastic. Always check that the selected bush size, tip opening and elastic diameter fit together properly.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an external and internal bush?

An external bush slides over the outside of the finished pole tip. An internal bush is placed inside the tip opening. Which version is suitable depends on the diameter and preparation of your top kit.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the outer diameter of the pole tip at the fitting point and check the maximum elastic diameter the bush accepts. Then choose the suitable version using the variant selector.

Why is PTFE suitable for an elastic bush?

PTFE has a very smooth surface. This allows the pole elastic to move through the bush with minimal friction, supporting smooth operation and helping to reduce wear.
