Ultraflex 5m – Hybrid Elastic

Fishing Things Ultraflex is a solid hybrid pole elastic that combines the long stretch of hollow elastic with the simplicity and price of solid elastic. With a stated stretch of up to 600%, it gradually absorbs sudden runs, allowing you to play even stronger fish with control.

The 5-metre spool provides enough material to fit several top kits. Thanks to its smooth action, Ultraflex is suitable for a wide range of pole fishing setups, from cautious silverfish fishing to targeting larger bream and carp. Select the desired diameter directly in the variant selector based on your fishing style, hooklength and target species.

Key features

• Solid hybrid elastic with the stretch characteristics of hollow elastic
• Stated stretch capacity up to 600%
• Smooth cushioning while playing fish
• Wear-resistant and affordable choice for top kits
• Supplied on a 5-metre spool

Fishing Things does not offer its own elastic connector. For a reliable connection to your rig, you can combine this elastic with the active Stonfo Elastic Connectors.

Is Ultraflex hollow or solid elastic?

Ultraflex is solid elastic with hybrid properties. It is therefore not hollow, but has been developed to stretch further and more gradually than classic solid elastic.

How do I choose the right diameter?

Match the diameter to the strength of the expected fish, your hooklength and the top kit. For lighter fishing, choose a finer version; for larger fish or heavier setups, a thicker version is more suitable.
