Preston Innovations is proud to introduce the latest generation of long fixed poles, specifically designed for carp fishing in Europe. The STR range is based on the mold of our Euro Carp range, ensuring compatibility for previous owners, from butt to top section, while benefiting from the latest carbon technology resulting in poles that are a pleasure to handle. The range consists of 5 fixed poles, all sharing the same mold, so the sections are fully interchangeable. We are also introducing a brand-new generation of top kits.

The design goals for this range were: comfort, power, balance, compatibility, and precision, all of which have been achieved, resulting in our best European range of fixed poles ever! We have developed brand-new top kits for the Euro Carp STR fixed poles, with the key word being simplicity! With that in mind, the top kits for all fixed poles in the range are identical, so whether you buy the 8.5m Edge or the top-model STR 1300, you know the top kits are identical, high quality, and fully interchangeable. The range also includes two power kits (290cm) available in black or grey, a three-piece (440cm) version available in black for deeper waters, as well as a one-piece (185cm) short kit that can be extended to the full 290cm with the short kit extender.

Each top kit has depth markings at 1cm intervals, crucial for adjusting depth, lead patterns, and distances between float and connector. The most powerful 13m fixed pole we have ever produced – X really means Xtra strong! Despite its power, this pole is a pleasure to handle and easy to fish with at its full length of 13m, without the need for a pole support.
