Description
Drennan Visi Wag 8 Float
The Drennan Visi Wag 8 is a pre-loaded pellet waggler for targeting carp feeding high in the water. The durable 7.5 mm diameter body provides stable, accurate casting, while the highly visible 6 mm thick, banded antenna remains easy to see at distance.
As the casting weight is already incorporated into the float’s base, there is no need to add extra shot to the line. This keeps the setup simple and allows the hookbait to sink naturally. The interchangeable Twistlock weights make the float practical to use, while the modern plastic construction is more consistent and wear-resistant than natural peacock quill.
Fit the waggler quickly with a hinged connection using the Drennan Swivel Float Attachments. This lets you change floats quickly without rebuilding the main line.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the Visi Wag 8 not need extra shot on the line?
The required casting weight is already built into the float’s base. This keeps the line below the float free from extra shot and allows the hookbait to sink naturally through the water layers.
What is the thicker body designed for?
The 7.5 mm body gives the float sufficient stability for powerful, accurate casts. This is especially useful when you want to reach feeding carp at some distance.
Can I change the float quickly?
Yes. With a suitable waggler connector or swivel float attachment, you can remove the float without retying the entire setup.
