SF1 Pole Float 🎁

The Drennan SF1 Pole Float is a sensitive silverfish float for the natural presentation of maggots and casters. Its streamlined, symmetrical balsa body has been developed for fishing for roach and other silverfish in canals, ponds and slow-moving water.

The self-straightening 0.5 mm nickel-titanium stem remains straight and gives the rig stability. At the top is an interchangeable solid 1 mm plastic antenna. This allows you to adjust visibility to the light without making a completely new rig. Separate Drennan Hi-Viz Pole Float Tips are available separately.

The side eye is securely glued into the body so that the float sits correctly. The extra-strong acrylic finish protects the balsa against wear and line damage. Mount the stem with suitable material from the float silicone collection.

Frequently asked questions

What type of fishing is the Drennan SF1 intended for?

The SF1 is designed for fine fishing for roach and other silverfish, especially with maggots and casters. Its symmetrical shape makes it highly versatile on still and slow-moving water.

What is the advantage of the nickel-titanium stem?

This material straightens itself and therefore remains straighter than a standard soft metal stem. This helps the float sit correctly and extends its useful lifespan.

Why is the antenna interchangeable?

You can adjust the antenna colour to changing light conditions and backgrounds without replacing the float or the complete rig. The SF1 uses a solid antenna with a diameter of 1 mm for this purpose.
