Its curved needle point stays sharp for a long time and helps the hook gain a firm hold when a fish needs to be controlled immediately near obstacles.

Thanks to improved Acolyte manufacturing, forged construction and a durable PTFE coating, this pattern is built for heavy-duty use on commercial fisheries. The hook is well suited to larger baits such as pellets, corn, cubes of luncheon meat, worms and a bunch of maggots. If you prefer not to tie your own, the same hook is available as a 15 cm Hook Plate hooklength or a 30 cm fluorocarbon hooklength.
