The Drennan Acolyte Maggot Plus Barbed Hook Plate hooklengths combine a strong barbed hook with supple Acolyte Fluorocarbon. They are designed for fishing with small natural baits for slightly larger or more powerful silverfish, where a finer Silverfish pattern would be too light.
The 15 cm hooklengths are hand-tied and feature a sharp, long-lasting needle point. The soft fluorocarbon is unobtrusive underwater and allows maggots, casters and worms to be presented naturally. Each rig is held under light tension on a flat Hook Plate, so the line is straight and kink-free, ready for use.
