Smooth Soft Elastic – Solid Elastic

Cresta Smooth Soft Elastic is a supple solid elastic for pole fishing that combines the compact diameter of solid elastic with a soft, forgiving stretch. This allows the pressure to build gradually during the fight, while still giving you the direct contact characteristic of solid elastic. Its wide range of uses makes this range suitable for both coarse fish and carp.

Supple, strong and abrasion-resistant

The high abrasion resistance has been developed for intensive use. Smooth Soft Elastic retains its pulling power when tied to a bung, stopper or connector and can be fitted in a classic top kit or a puller kit. For a neat connection, you can combine it with the Cresta Smooth Dacron Connectors. If you use a puller setup, the Cresta Flatside Soft Pullerbeads are a suitable addition.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference compared to classic solid elastic?

Smooth Soft Elastic stretches more softly and forgivingly than traditional solid elastic. It therefore feels more like hollow elastic, while retaining the compact diameter and direct action of solid elastic.

Can I tie this elastic directly to a connector?

Yes. According to Cresta, the elastic can be easily tied to a bung, stopper or connector without losing its pulling power.

Is Smooth Soft Elastic suitable for a puller kit?

Yes. Its abrasion resistance and supple stretch make it suitable for both a standard elastic setup and a puller kit.
