Description
Cresta Marukyu Dumbell Sinkers 6+8 mm are sinking dumbbell hookbaits for Method fishing. They sink to the bottom entirely under their own weight, providing a stable bait presentation when you deliberately do not want to present the hookbait suspended.
The tough yet soft texture stays securely on the hair and is suitable for attaching with a bait band or bayonet. Each jar contains 6 and 8 mm dumbbells, allowing you to match the bait size to the hook size and situation. They are intended for carp, bream, tench and F1 carp, among others, and complement the Cresta Marukyu Method Plus and EXP groundbait ranges.
Using a bait band? The Captura Baits Bait Bands 3 mm are suitable for 6 and 8 mm hookbaits.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between these sinkers and Wafters?
Sinkers sink completely under their own weight and remain on the bottom. Wafters are more lightly balanced and offer a subtler, almost suspended presentation.
When should I choose 6 mm and when 8 mm?
Choose 6 mm for a more compact presentation or a smaller hook. Use 8 mm when you want the hookbait to stand out more clearly or when fishing with a larger hook.
Can I attach these dumbbells with a bait band?
Yes. The tough yet soft texture and dumbbell shape are suitable for a bait band. You can also attach them to the hair with a bayonet.
