Description
Champion Feed Champion de France Canal Groundbait is a dark, sticky canal groundbait developed to remain active even in moving water. Its subtle almond aroma is aimed at wary fish, while the dark colour keeps the baited area discreet.
The mix is easy to prepare and can be moistened in several stages. This allows you to build up the binding precisely for the water depth and current. When properly mixed, the groundbait stays together during casting and sinking, then starts working in a controlled way on the bottom.

Frequently asked questions
Why is this canal groundbait dark in colour?
A dark baited area stands out less against many canal beds. This is useful when fish are feeding cautiously and a conspicuous light-coloured bed of groundbait is undesirable.
How do I make the groundbait suitable for flowing canal water?
Add water in small stages and allow the mix to rest in between. Make it just moist and sticky enough to reach the bottom before the groundbait starts to break down actively.
How do I check whether the binding is right?
Compress a small ball of groundbait or a filled feeder underwater close to the bank. Adjust the moisture level or compression pressure until the groundbait releases at the desired depth and speed.
