Wafters 6mm

Attrafish Wafters 6mm

Attrafish Wafters 6mm are soft yet firm, semi-buoyant hookbaits for commercial carp fishing and targeted fishing for bream and tench. Their balanced buoyancy offsets part of the hook weight, allowing the bait to be presented naturally and easily taken by the fish.

The compact diameter is ideal for small method feeder or pole fishing presentations. You can attach the wafter using a bait spike, bayonet, hair or suitable pellet band. Select the current colour and flavour directly via the product selector.

Match the attachment method to your rig and the firmness of the bait. For quick rigging, you can use the active Captura Baits Bait Bands 3mm; these are intended for 6 and 8 mm hookbaits. Always check after attaching that the wafter is still correctly balanced with the chosen hook.

Frequently asked questions

Does a wafter float completely on the surface?
No. A wafter is semi-buoyant and designed to create a light, balanced presentation together with the weight of the hook.

Which fish species are these Wafters suitable for?
They are developed for carp on commercial fisheries, but can also be used effectively for bream and tench.

How do I check the correct balance?
Test the complete hooklength at the bank or in a water container. The wafter should react lightly and naturally while the hook remains stable on the bottom. A different hook size can alter the balance.
