Description
The Drennan Acolyte F1-Silvers Feeder Rods have been developed for accurate feeder and bomb fishing on commercial waters. The ultra-slim, responsive blank has been extensively tested and refined with five-time world champion Alan Scotthorne, combining low weight with a balanced action for F1s, bream, skimmers, silverfish and small to medium-sized carp.
The rods handle feeders and bombs up to 45 grams and are tuned for clear bite detection. They come with three slim Acolyte carbon feeder tips in ½ oz, 1 oz and 1½ oz. Large SiC Gunsmoke guides, a Fuji DPS screw reel seat and a full cork handle provide a smart, functional finish. Thanks to the two-piece construction, the rod can be transported made up in a suitable rod sleeve or hard case.

Frequently asked questions
What type of fishing are the Acolyte F1-Silvers Feeder Rods intended for?
They are particularly suitable for accurate fishing on commercial waters, targeting species such as F1s, bream, skimmers, silverfish and small to medium-sized carp.
Which feeder tip should I use for cautious bites?
The light ½ oz tip shows subtle bites most clearly. In stronger winds, with a heavier rig or a tighter line, you can switch to the 1 oz or 1½ oz tip.
Can I transport the rod made up?
Yes. Thanks to the two-piece construction, the rod can be folded down quickly and carried made up in a suitable rod sleeve or hard case.
