Big Roach Groundbait 2kg – Groundbait for Big Roach

Van den Eynde Big Roach Groundbait 2 kg

Van den Eynde Big Roach, also known as Large Roach, is a targeted groundbait for fishing for larger roach in deep canals and rivers. The mix binds sufficiently to reach the feeding area in a controlled manner, yet breaks up quickly on the bottom. Active and moving groundbait particles provide extra visual attraction in and above the feeding area.

This roach groundbait performs particularly well on waters around four to five metres deep, such as the Meuse and the Albert Canal. You can use it on its own or incorporate it into a blended mix. With clay, you can adjust the weight, binding and action to suit the current and bottom.

Frequently asked questions

What type of water is Big Roach best suited for?

The mix was developed for deeper canals and rivers, especially when you want to target large roach close to the bottom. In slower-moving water, you can adjust the composition with a lighter clay.

Can I mix this groundbait with other groundbaits?

Yes. Big Roach can be used as a base or form part of a blended roach mix. The successful formula above combines it with Super Crack Roach, Secret and Rotaugen Classic.

When should I add clay?

Add clay when you want to make the mix heavier, carry bait particles more effectively or slow down its action. Choose light or damp clay in limited current and a heavier clay in fast-flowing water.
