Description
Drennan Vertex Elasticated Whip Kit 5m
The Drennan Vertex Elasticated Whip Kit 5m is a complete, ready-to-use whip fishing set for quickly fishing a slightly wider area. The fully elasticated top helps absorb the first runs of a larger bonus fish, allowing you to play not only small silverfish but also F1s and smaller carp with control.
The set is pre-rigged with a 4 lb / 0.18 mm main line, a 3 lb / 0.15 mm hooklength and a barbless Silverfish Pellet hook in size 16. This hook is suitable for maggots, casters, soft pellets, sweetcorn and bread, among other baits. A Match Disgorger, Pole Hook Up and pre-fitted elastic connector are also included.

Frequently asked question
When should I choose the 5-metre version?
The 5-metre length is suitable when you want to fish slightly farther from the bank while retaining the speed and simplicity of a whip rod. On smaller venues or when fish are feeding very close to the bank, a shorter whip rod may be more practical.
