Elite 900g – Pellets

The Van den Eynde Elite Pellets are versatile sinking pellets for modern commercial fishery and match fishing techniques. Thanks to their specific structure, you can use them dry, soak them briefly to create a firm softie, or fully prepare them as soft expander pellets, without a pellet pump.

The pellets do not split easily, stay securely on the hook or in a bait band, and retain their colour. They also readily absorb a liquid flavour, allowing you to tailor the presentation to the day’s fishing and the chosen groundbait.

Key features

• Sinking all-in-one pellets for various preparation methods
• Can be used dry, as a softie or as an expander
• No pellet pump required
• Stay firm on the hook and in a bait band
• Ideal for use with a liquid booster

Preparation

As expander pellets

Place the pellets well under water in a cool place on the evening before fishing. Keep around a thumb’s width of water above the pellets. Sparkling water can help draw air from the pellets, producing an evenly soft expander. You can also leave the pellets to rest in a sealed bag with an equal amount of water.

As softies

Leave the pellets under water for a while on the evening before fishing, drain them, and allow them to soften overnight in a closed container.

For use in a bait band

Soak the dry pellets at the waterside for around ten minutes, then drain them. They will then be firmer than an expander and ready to mount in a bait band.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a pellet pump?

No. Elite Pellets can be prepared as expanders or softies without a pump.

Why is sparkling water recommended?

The carbon dioxide reacts with an ingredient in the pellet and helps draw out air, supporting preparation as an expander pellet.

Can I give the pellets extra attraction?

Yes. Add a suitable liquid booster during or after preparation. Thanks to their structure, the pellets absorb flavours and attractants well.
