Hookpellets 500g – Sinking Expander Pellets without Pumping

Van den Eynde Hookpellets are neutral, fishmeal-free pellets that can be used as soft expanders, softies or hard pellets. Their light colour provides contrast on a dark bottom, while the neutral smell and taste leave room to colour or flavour the bait yourself.

The pellets absorb liquid attractors well, making them easy to adapt to the season, water and target species. Use them directly on the hook, with a bait band or as feed pellets. For a personal scent and flavour combination, you can add Carpshop24 Bait Booster to the water while soaking.

Three preparation methods

As an expander: completely cover the pellets with water the evening before fishing, keeping around a thumb-width of water above them. Store them in a cool place while soaking.

As a softie: briefly cover the pellets with water, drain them in a colander, then leave them to soften overnight in a sealed container.

As a hard bait band pellet: soak the pellets for around ten minutes at the waterside, then drain them. They are then ready to be mounted in a bait band.

Frequently asked questions

Do Van den Eynde Hookpellets contain fishmeal?
No. The manufacturer developed this pellet specifically as a neutral, fishmeal-free alternative.

Do I need a pellet pump for these hook pellets?
No. The official preparation method simply uses water and resting time; you can prepare them as expanders or softies the evening before.

Can I store leftover soft pellets?
Yes. Cover them with a damp sheet of kitchen paper and store them chilled in a sealed container until your next fishing session.
