Sonubaits Match Method Mix is a finely tuned Method groundbait based on ground pellets and fishmeal. It was developed for modern Method feeder fishing on commercial fisheries and is primarily aimed at carp, F1, bream and skimmers.

The mix binds firmly enough to withstand the cast, impact with the water and sinking. Once the Method feeder is on the bottom, the groundbait quickly breaks down around the hookbait. This creates a compact feeding area that encourages fish to compete without immediately introducing large amounts of groundbait.

Mixing instructions

1. Place the entire bag in a round mixing bucket.
2. Add approximately 1.1 litres of water and mix thoroughly.
3. Leave the groundbait to rest for 30 minutes so all particles absorb the moisture.
4. Pass the mix through a groundbait sieve for an even, lump-free consistency.

Sun and wind can dry out prepared groundbait while fishing. Therefore, cover it with a damp towel or, if necessary, add a small amount of water and mix again.

During this time, the ground pellets and other ingredients absorb the water evenly. This gives you a more stable consistency around the Method feeder.

How do I check whether the groundbait has been mixed correctly?

Press a loaded feeder into the margin under water. The groundbait should remain firm while sinking and then start to break down smoothly around the feeder.

What should I do if the mix dries out at the waterside?

Cover it with a damp cloth. If it has become too dry, add a very small amount of water, mix again and test the binding once more.
