Washout Wafters Allsorts 6mm

Ringers Washout Wafters Allsorts 6mm are critically balanced dumbbell wafters for a subtle hookbait presentation in method and feeder fishing. The pale washout colours give the bait the appearance of a pellet that has been in the water for some time, providing a less conspicuous presentation especially in clear or heavily fished waters.

The buoyancy is designed to work with a suitable hook to create a light, naturally moving presentation. The compact dumbbell shape can be mounted on a hair, bait spike or with a pellet band. For the latter setup, Captura Baits Bait Bands are a suitable addition. Always test the complete hooklength at the bank, as hook weight and attachment determine the balance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the advantage of a washout colour?
The pale colour resembles bait that has been in the water for a while. This can provide a more subtle presentation when fish are reluctant to feed in clear or heavily fished waters.

Does this wafter hover above the bottom?
The wafter is critically balanced and responds to the weight of the hook. With a suitable combination, it presents lightly on or just above the bottom. Therefore, test every setup beforehand.

How do I attach a 6 mm Washout Wafter?
Use a hair, bait spike or small pellet band. Choose an attachment that does not deform the bait, then check the balance in the water.

When should I choose a 6 mm wafter?
The compact size is ideal for a refined method or feeder presentation, for example when fishing with small feed pellets or when fish are feeding cautiously.
