Description
Preston Slip Dacron Connectors provide a compact, reliable connection between pole elastic and rig. The soft bead slides over the elastic knot and acts as a buffer, while the Dacron loop allows neat attachment of the main line.
Protected knot and quick rig changes
The bead has space inside for the elastic knot. After tying, pull the bead over the connection so the knot is protected and does not strike directly against the pole tip. The short, stiff Dacron loop remains easy to handle and helps you attach or remove the rig quickly.
These connectors are suitable for a wide range of pole elastics. For example, combine them with Preston Dura Slip Hybrid Elastic and select the appropriate connector version using the product selector.

Frequently asked questions
How do I attach a Slip Dacron Connector?
Tie the pole elastic securely around the base of the Dacron loop, then pull the soft bead over the knot. Before use, check that the bead is secure and fully covers the knot.
Why does the connector have a soft bead?
The bead encloses the elastic knot and forms a soft buffer at the pole tip. This keeps the connection compact and limits direct contact with the knot.
How do I choose the right version?
Match the connector to the diameter and strength of your pole elastic. Select the appropriate version on the product page and test that the bead fits firmly over the knot without pinching the elastic.
