Roller Pulla Bush – Pulla Bush with Roller

Preston Roller Pulla Bush – smooth side exit for your top kit elastic

The Preston Roller Pulla Bush is a separate side bush that allows you to convert an existing reinforced top kit into a Roller Pulla system. The side exit lets you pull in elastic during the fight and adjust the tension precisely, helping you maintain control with a lighter setup as the fish gets closer.

The rolling design guides the elastic smoothly along the PTFE bush. This reduces friction and helps prevent the elastic from fraying or becoming damaged through repeated contact. As a result, the bush supports both smooth operation and a longer elastic lifespan.

Key features

• Separate Roller Pulla bush for converting suitable top kits
• Allows controlled pulling of elastic during the fight
• Rolling design for smooth guidance
• PTFE contact point helps reduce friction and wear
• Suitable for fitting in a sufficiently reinforced section of the top kit

Fitting

Fit the bush only in a sufficiently reinforced section of the top kit. For precise drilling and fitting, you can use the Preston Roller Drilla Kit. Preston recommends having the fitting carried out by a tackle shop or experienced rod repairer if you are unsure about the position, reinforcement or drill diameter.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Roller Pulla Bush used for?

The bush provides a smooth side exit for the elastic. During the fight, you can pull elastic from the top kit to increase tension and land the fish under control.

Can I fit this bush in every top kit?

No. The chosen fitting position must be sufficiently reinforced. Have your top kit checked beforehand to ensure it is suitable, as an incorrectly positioned drilled hole can weaken the rod section.

Why does the bush contain a roller?

The roller guides the elastic as it is pulled in and out. This creates less friction at a single fixed contact point and allows the elastic to work more smoothly.
