Dura Pellet Waggler 13mm Standard

The Preston Dura Pellet Waggler 13 mm Standard is the thickest and most robust version in the straight Dura Pellet Waggler range. Its wide body offers plenty of buoyancy and stability for active pellet waggler fishing for carp.

The float comes with three interchangeable tips in red, yellow and black, allowing you to adjust visibility to changing light conditions. Two removable splash discs slow down the landing and help prevent the waggler from diving too deeply. This means the float settles more quickly and bait presentation begins almost immediately. For a quick-change attachment without additional split shot, you can use the Preston Waggler Adaptors.

Frequently asked questions

What do the splash discs do on this pellet waggler?

The discs slow down the float when it hits the water. This prevents it from diving as deeply and allows it to settle more quickly into the correct fishing position.

When should I use the red, yellow or black tip?

Choose the colour that provides the strongest contrast against the background and light conditions at that moment. As the tips are interchangeable, you can adjust this while fishing.

Can I use the Dura Pellet Waggler without splash discs?

Yes. Both discs are removable, so you can also use the float without the additional braking effect when conditions require it.
