Precision Pellet Wagglers

The Preston Precision Pellet Wagglers are pre-loaded balsa waggler floats for accurate carp fishing in the upper water layers. Their streamlined design allows the float to be cast stably and accurately. Smaller versions are particularly suitable for accurately casting at cruising, cautious carp, while the larger versions offer more control on open water and in unfavourable weather conditions.

The loading is positioned directly against the float body. This makes the waggler wobble less during the cast and sit correctly immediately after landing, without first diving deep underwater. This is an important advantage when fishing very shallow. The 10 mm thick balsa body and brightly coloured, highly visible tip also support bite detection in low light and at greater distances. For quick, secure attachment to the main line, you can combine this float with the Preston Stopz Pellet Waggler Kit.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this pellet waggler barely dive under on landing?

The loading is positioned directly against the float. This allows the Precision Pellet Waggler to sit correctly quickly as soon as it hits the water, causing less disturbance to bait presentation in very shallow water.

When should I choose a smaller or larger version?

A smaller version is ideal for short, accurate casts at cruising carp. A larger model provides more casting control when fishing further out, on open water or in stronger wind.

How do I attach this waggler to the main line?

Use a suitable waggler adapter or mounting kit that attaches the float securely but interchangeably to the line. The Preston Stopz Pellet Waggler Kit is a suitable solution for this.
