Natural N-60 Barbed – Barbed Hook

The Preston Natural N-60 Barbed is a strong barbed hook for situations where a heavier hooklength material and larger hook baits are needed. The round bend, long shank and large spade end give this model a powerful, reliable shape for feeder and float fishing, among other applications.

The inward-curved, razor-sharp point helps the hook find a secure hold, while the black nickel finish ensures a discreet presentation. Thanks to its versatility with bait, the Natural N-60 is particularly suitable for worms, sweetcorn, pellets and meat.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the Natural N-60?

Choose this model when fishing with larger baits and heavier hooklength material. Its strong shape makes it suitable for situations where a fine, lightweight hook model is less appropriate.

What is the advantage of the long shank?

The long shank provides extra room for bulkier baits and makes the hook easier to grip when unhooking fish. Always ensure that the hook point remains exposed.

Which hook baits suit this hook?

Worms, sweetcorn, pellets and meat are well suited to the shape and wire gauge of the Natural N-60. Match the amount of bait to the chosen hook size and fishing situation.

Does the Natural N-60 have an eye?

No. This hook has a large spade end and is tied directly to the hooklength material using a suitable spade-end knot.
