Preston Monster Xtreme Distance Feeder Rods by name, extreme by nature! The Preston Monster Xtreme Distance Feeder Rods range has been developed to cast heavy feeders over huge distances, while still offering an excellent action for playing fish of every size.

All three models feature strong, powerful blanks that can cast feeders beyond 100 metres with ease, while maintaining an impressive fish-playing action. They are also the ideal choice for fast-flowing rivers where species such as barbel are the target.

All models are fitted with Seaguide guides, beautifully finished, powerful feeder tips and long handles to make casting easier.

The shortest rod in the Preston Monster Xtreme range, this model is perfectly suited to venues that require a powerful, short rod. Suitable for casting distances up to 80 m+, this model has a powerful progressive action that allows feeders to be launched with ease while still retaining a superb fish-playing action.

The longest rod in the range, this model is a true beast! With a casting weight of 200 grams, this rod has cast feeders over 160 metres during testing; an incredible performance considering the price tag! Don’t be fooled by the huge casting power, however; this rod still has a progressive action.

It is also an ideal model for fast-flowing rivers, as the extra length makes it possible to keep plenty of line off the water.

This model is a specialist tool, designed for extreme-distance casting or casting extremely heavy feeders. With a strong, powerful blank, this model can comfortably cast 150 m or cast feeders up to 220 g, perfect for both lakes and powerful rivers where big fish are the target.
